Our new Heavy Weight Ruana Sashiko Arrow Cape is an incredibly luscious, weighty, cape with cashmere knit cording around the entire perimeter, embellished with our multicolored Arrow design with sparkling Austrian colorful crystals. This design is inspired by the Japanese art of sashiko stitching, which is a folk art that originated in Japan about 425 years ago as a practical way to strengthen clothing. Our arrow design is a deconstructed piece of a traditional Yanabe (arrow feather) pattern, using crystals instead of sewn stitches. Crystals dot the entire piece. So lovely.
